Program Overview
Behavioral Consultants, Inc. is contracted by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) to provide competency remediation services to defendants who have been adjudicated incompetent to proceed, committed to DHS for treatment to competency, and are enrolled in the DHS sponsored Outpatient Competency Restoration Program (OCRP). Defendants referred for remediation services by DHS may be out of custody or in a county jail in contract with DHS for jail-based treatment to competency.
