Remediation Specialist - OCRP / JBCR

Garett Retzlaff, M.S. Received his Master's degree in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, and his Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a minor in Family Studies, from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. His graduate capstone examined how the presence of physical disabilities impacts self-evaluations and mental health outcomes in adults and adolescents. During his graduate studies, Mr. Retzlaff interned with the Center for Youth and Family Solutions in Peoria, Illinois, to provide psychotherapy services, gaining experience treating trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders for clients with diverse backgrounds and identities.

Mr. Retzlaff joined the Behavioral Consultants, Inc. team in November of 2024. In his role as a Remediation Specialist, Mr. Retzlaff is responsible for providing psycho-educational therapy for adult defendants.
